FAQ
What happened to Skype Number and Skype Credit?
Microsoft shut down Skype in May 2025. Skype Number (virtual numbers) and Skype Credit (calls to landlines and mobiles) ended with it.
Can I port my old Skype number?
Porting depended on Microsoft and the number country. The easiest route is a new number in the same country and area code – for the US and UK it takes minutes.
Does Atlayo Voice work in the browser like Skype?
Yes. You make and take calls right in the web app, nothing to install. You can also use a SIP app on your phone.
